Vichy Normaderm Night Detox £15.50 (*) – This beauty from Vichy has literally been a saviour for my oily skin for the past two weeks. In the mornings, my skin use to feel really oily and almost dirty as such, even though it isn’t because I always cleanse before bed. But this has helped to reduce the amount of sebum produced overnight, so my skin isn’t greasy in the mornings.
Boots Beauty From Within Hyaluronic Acid Vitamins £9.99 (*) – I am all for anti-ageing care and when these landed on my doorstep a month ago, I was extremely intrigued. I’ve never tried any type of beauty vitamins before and after reading all about them online and how massive it is in Asia, I decided to give these a good go and I was not disappointed at all. Within the two weeks, I noticed my complexion was brighter and more radiant. After the third week, my skin felt softer, I had a really nice glow and even my pores looked smaller. I am honestly gobsmacked at how well these have turned out and I’d definitely recommend trying them out.
Vita Liberata Skin Respect Luxury Gradual Build Untinted Face Tan Lotion £35.00 (*) – Natural face tan’s the most hardest to maintain as it it one area that fades the quickest. I’d say they last roughly about a week and a half for me and most of the times, I have to use bronzer to match up my make up to my body. When I came back from Egypt, I had a really nice golden glow that I wanted to try and keep for as long as possible so I started using this face tan lotion from Vita Liberata. I love the handy little bottle and the pump packaging, however, it didn’t really make a difference to my skin at all, in fact, it often left odd orange patches on my cheeks and forehead. At £35, it’s also rather pricey for such a small bottle.
Only Fingers + Toes Nail Lacquer in Krypton £16.00 (*) – When autumn hits, one of the first things I started switching up is my nail colours. I love digging out those deep reds, muted nudes and dark blues and this colour from Only Fingers + Toes fits the bill perfectly. Described as a greige nude, it has a bit of a swirl of shades, think mushroom brown with a hint of grey with an opaque nude all over. The consistency of the polish is smooth, applies well and so far, no chips in sight.
Sleek Lipstick True Colour in Vamp £4.99 – I have been slightly obsessed with red lips lately and this one from Sleek has been an absolute delight. It is medium cherry red with a matte finish and is super easy to apply. No tugs, no dryness, just pure smooth colour that applies nicely. What I also love about this, is that it removes really easily, not that it’s not long lasting throughout the day, but when I come to take it off at night, it slides off with ease, leaving no red tint behind.
