Only For The Eyes

eye creams for dark circles

Eye products are one of those things that I previously neglected to use. I rarely had any sort of eye skin problems as such and never felt the need to use them until the past year or so. Lack of sleep was the main concern for me and due to this, I developed dark, eye bags underneath my eyes. Blaming myself for not treating that part of my face well, I went off and explored the world of eye creams/serums/gels.

Today, I’m sharing with you, two of best ones I’ve tried and also a new one that has very quickly become a favourite. First up is Healgel Eye (*), a brand I came across at the beginning of this year and very quickly fell in love with. The texture of the gel is super soft and moisturising and instantly refreshes my eyes. Within two weeks of using this, I noticed the skin under my eyes were less puffy and dark and it also created a nice, smooth base for make up. Next is, The Body Shop’s Drops Of Youth Eye Concentrate (*), it comes in form of a rollerball pump applicator and releases a serum-gel type product. All I do is apply the concentrate on to my skin and pat it down and it instantly makes my eyes appear less tired and reduces the appearance of eye bags. The packaging is also super handy, which is great for popping in your handbag to reapply throughout the day if needed. Lastly, the newest addition is the Clarins Eye Revive Beauty Flash (*). I have only been using this for a week and it has already won a firm place in my heart. It’s perfect for refreshing tired eyes and minimises dark circles while protecting the skin. I also found this great for treating puffiness and really gives my eyes a lift.
