I am a huge perfume fan and when I came across The Library of Fragrance during the summer at a Boots Christmas event, I was instantly hooked and knew it was something I’d definitely look in to at some point. Fast forward a few months and I am sat here with three incredible scents from the brand and I can’t help but give them a sniff every few seconds while writing this post. The Library of Fragrance products are produced by New York based company, Demeter Fragrance Library Inc and the unique selling point of these fragrances are each scent captures all the wonderful smells that surround us every day, but are often forgotten or unappreciated in our multi-tasking world. After gaining a cult following, Demeter went on to create even more scents and no matter how unusual or odd they were, customers were always coming back for more.
I have three bottles of these fragrances, Baby Powder (*), Cucumber (*) and Orange Blossom (*). Each of them have an distinctive twang to the scent and really opens up my feelings every time I use them. My personal favourite is Baby Powder and it was inspired by the iconic fragrance of talc by the Johnson & Johnson company. It brings back memories of being a child and also reminds me of my nieces and nephew whom I adore.
With over 300 unique scents sold in 35 different countries, there’s definitely one that will suit you. Most of the collection can be purchase directly through the website with a carefully curated selection available at Boots. At £15.00 a bottle, it’s super affordable and would make a great Christmas gift.
