Body moisturising has always has been one of those things I neglected, most times, I just can’t be bothered. I have a bath/shower, then get extremely lazy after and then forget to do it. However, around six months ago, something in me clicked and I just thought to myself, no one is going to look after my skin for me, so it’s best I get myself in gear and start moisturising my body properly. Today, I’m sharing with you my currently loved body moisturisers…..
When I’m in a rush and need a quick, lightweight cream, The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet comes in in to play. It’s super moisturising, yet so light on my skin and because of the consistency, applying it, is quick and easy. The floral scent is lovely and refreshing and lasts all day long. For more intense moisture, I reach for the Sanctuary Spa White Lily & Damask Rose Body Butter (*), this is more richer than the sorbet and provides deep hydration without being too sticky. The white lily scent is much more overpowering than the rose and it feels absolutely gorgeous on my skin. Lastly, one of my all time favourites, is the Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Oil-Free Body Moisturiser (*). Because I have been fake-tanning a lot lately, this has literally been a saviour in keeping my colour locked in place and even when it does fade, it’s never patchy and much more even thanks to it’s oil-free formula. You may think that by reading the title that the scent might be sickly-sweet, but it actually smells of the signature Cocoa Brown Tahitian Gardenia scent with just a hint of cocoa. In my opinion, these are all must-tries and they’re not too pricey either which is always good!
What is your body moisturising routine like? Will you be giving any of these a try?
