The night before Dan and I embarked on our trip to Paris, we decided to stay in central London, close to King’s Cross station, so it would be easier for us to catch the Eurostar the next day. We settled down in the Ibis Hotel in Euston, just a short walk from King’s Cross St Pancras and was impressed by the quick and easy check in at the reception. We had a double room booked and although a little basic, we loved the fact that it was super cosy and comfortable, just what we needed. The bed was really comfy, we had a clean bathroom and we was also greeted with tea/coffee, a plate of fruit and two bottles of water which was a nice touch. The hotel is close to many restaurants and bars, so it was really easy for us to find somewhere to dine on the night.

In the morning, after packing up, we proceeded downstairs to the breakfast area which was housed in a super trendy restaurant. An array of breakfast options were available and because we had a long journey ahead of us, we opted for a full English to keep us going. After breakfast, checking out was again, very quick and easy with no hold ups at all.

We had a great experience staying at the Ibis Hotel and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere to stay close to Euston/King’s Cross. I know that I’d definitely come back again!
