smashbox double exposure palette

Oh, I do love a good palette, especially when it’s as beautiful as the Smashbox Double Exposure (*). Known as ‘The Palette Of All Possibilities‘ and using state-of-the-art coated pigments, each shadow transforms when activated with water and changes the shade in one of four ways; amps up vibrancy, gets deeper, turns metallic and adds sparkle. So fourteen eyeshadows actually become twenty-eight, all in one palette.

Each eyeshadow was super intense when worn wet and the darker shades are definitely great if you’ve got a long night out planned as they’re really long-lasting. Wearing them dry was perfect for the day time as I geared towards the more neutral/pink shades. All in all, this is a great addition to the Exposure range and for £37, it isn’t too pricey for such a gorgeous palette.

Double Exposure is already available online at Smashbox and will be available at Boots and Smashbox counters from the 7th of January. Will you be picking one up?
