Winter Beauty Saviours

beauty products for winter

I feel like I am the last person on earth to talk about winter beauty saviours, definitely late to the party in my opinion, but then again, who doesn’t love a good dose of skin loving beauty products to help you get through the winter season? I definitely love reading about people’s winter favourites, mainly because I’m nosy and secondly, I like finding out about products I’ve never heard of before. So, let me share with you today, my current winter beauty saviours and why I like them so much.

When the weather turns super, super cold, I always swap my cleanser for something more creamy and hydrating. This season, my go-to has been the Clarins Cleansing Milk. It feels really rich when applied, but doesn’t clog my pores at all and leaves my skin feeling nicely cleansed and soft. Moving swiftly on to body care, the Bodhi & Birch Jasmine Falls Bath & Shower Therapy (*) has been an absolute godsend. I love everything from the texture, to the scent to how it makes my skin feels after, it’s just such a lovely shower gel. I guess the main thing for me is just how relaxing it makes me feel after a shower, definitely the perfect wind down product. Lastly, I’m going to talk body moisturising, and skin during the winter is definitely in need of a more richer lotion. For the main part of my body, I love The Body Shop’s Cocoa Butter Body Butter, it’s super moisturising, sinks in really quickly and leaves my skin feeling mega soft. For my hands and feet, I recently discovered Les Couvent Des Minimes. Their Gardener’s Hand Healer (*) and Hiker’s Foot Healer (*) have both been absolutely amazing this winter. I have never had softer hands and feet and it’s all thanks to this duo. It also helps that they smell gorgeous and really gives my skin the moisture it needs to combat the wintry air.

So that is all my winter beauty saviours, have you tried any of these products before? What are your winter beauty favourites?

The Body Shop body butter is so great during winter. I must have about five tubs. It is so thick and creamy- I love it! The Clarins Cleansing Milk sounds fab. I have been looking for a product that won't clog my pores x
