Last Friday, I popped along to Radio hair Salon on Redchurch Street for a long overdue hair cut (*). After a slight misshap (completely my fault), I was introduced to my stylist Konstantino, who whisked me off to my seat for a chat about all things hair. He talked me through the cut he’d had in mind and also about the products he planned on using, I was then given a lovely shampoo and condition by one of the assistants. Konstantino took about an inch off to get rid of the damaged and dry ends, before cutting some soft layers in to the length to give it a bit more body. He also shaped my long fringe to bring out my face shape and features. From the pictures, you can see the extra amount of volume I have just by adding in the layers and the condition of my hair is so much better after having that inch taken off.
The salon itself is beautifully decorated with that super cool East London vibe. Bumble and Bumble products lay nicely around the salon as well as the nice little touches of branded bag holders and gowns. If you’re looking for a new salon to try out in London, I’d highly recommend Radio, prices range from £50-£100 depending on the stylist level you require.
