Best Of: Blemish Banishers

how to treat spots

Having suffered from problem skin as a teenager, I know all too well how it feels when the blemishes start to appear on the skin unexpectedly. Fear no more as today I am sharing with you the blemish banishing treatments that actually work ranging from high to low range in price.

Starting off with the high end, Murad’s Blemish Clearing Solution (*) contains a powerful formula that rapidly heals breakouts and reduces the redness caused by blemishes, ingredients such as Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree Oil purifies my skin and prevents future breakouts. It is a little on the pricey side, but well worth splurging on for long term effects. Having a weekly mask is a must for my skincare routine and when my skin is feeling a little sore and red (time of month usually), I opt for Masque Bar’s Anti-Blemish Mud Mask (*). It really helps to control excess oil and treat irritation, the non-drying formula balances my complexion and leaves my skin feeling soothed and calm. Lastly, while I’m out and about, on the go, I take the Australian Bodycare Blemish Stick (*) with me. It’s a clear liquid in a rollerball stick and can be applied directly to blemishes throughout the day to reduce inflammation and repair the skin.
