Relax At Bathtime With Dr Salts+

how to relax in the evenings

Y’all know I love a good bath, for me, nothing gets me more excited than chilling in a tub of freshly ran water with my favourite bubbles and a good old gossip magazine. So when this huge bag of Dr Salts+ Sleep Therapy Bath Salts with Rosemary (*) landed on my doorstep, I couldn’t wait to give them a try.

Salt is salt, it doesn’t get any simpler than that. It is a natural resource with great healing properties dating back to the time of ancient Egyptians and has been used for therapy in various skin treatments. Remaining just as popular back then and now, bathing in quality dead sea salt can replenish the minerals which are critical in maintaining a healthy body, especially for the skin and muscles.

There are currently four therapies in the Dr Salts+ range, three using salt from the Dead Sea and one using pale pink salt from the Himalayas. I always find it hard to relax when it comes to the evenings, my mind is constantly running at one hundred miles an hour, so the Sleep Therapy salts have a been perfect for helping me to wind down and chill out. Before placing them in to the bath, I grab a good handful of the salts and gently inhale the scents, it gives off an extremely soothing sensation and smells incredible. There has actually been a few times, where I have almost drifted off in the bath, these salts really do work and after drying off, my skin feels super nourished and smooth. At £6.99 a bag, they’re a right bargain and will last a long time since you don’t need a lot to experience the effects. Overall, these get a massive thumbs up and please excuse me while I go off now and run myself another bath…..!

Do you find it hard to relax in the evenings? Do these bath salts sound appealing to you?
