Following on from my 5 Things – Hong Kong post, I mention about doing a full review of the Holiday Inn, Golden Mile. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for four nights a couple of weeks ago and it has honestly been one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Hong Kong. Conveniently located on the corner of Nathan and Mody roads in Tsim Sha Tsui, an area that is renowned for its shopping arcades, boutiques, restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Holiday Inn, Golden Mile offers six hundred and twenty one spacious rooms and suites equipped with king size or two double beds, speedy broadband internet, air-conditioning, in-room safe and more. The underground station is located adjacent to the hotel and is the fastest way to get around Hong Kong with ease. The world-famous Star Ferry to Central is also only five minute walk away, so if you fancy a more scenic way of getting to town, then this is the best option.
As there was four of us staying in the room, the staff were really accommodating with our requests. Not once did we find the room cramped and our housekeeping lady was super friendly and always made sure it was tidy and in tip top condition when we returned from our days out. We also had access to Executive Club Lounge which is a perk if you book an Executive Club Floor room. Some of the privileges include express check-in, late check-out, complimentary daily buffet breakfast, free local calls and more. In the club lounge, there are also a variety of chilled out activities for guests such as reading, listening to music and internet rooms.
Within the hotel, there are three main restaurants and one bar, so you will never go hungry or thirsty. I sampled a few dishes in the Osteria Ristorante Italiano and will do another separate post on that as the food was just so, so good that it deserves it’s own blog post. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn, Golden Mile, super convenient, easily accessible and just perfect for any type of traveller.
