Heartfelt Words

uk lifestyle blogger london

Today, I sat down at my desk and felt the urge to write, about what I don’t know, let’s just see how this goes then…..

Those who know me know that I love a good inspirational quote or saying or just a good old natter about life in general. Words are very powerful and can either make or break someone, that’s why I always choose to use them carefully. If I am ever going through a tough period, I always turn to my favourite sayings, repeat them in my head until I feel better and remind myself that I’m not alone. Emotions are out to trick you and can often leave you in turmoil, they make you roam around aimlessly in the dark and make you search for answers that don’t exist. Surrounding myself with positive thoughts and energy has been the best therapy for combating negativity and has helped in easing any bitterness, resentment and anger. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and said to yourself, why me? Snap out of it and always remember that you are more than what the problem is, it doesn’t define you and there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Life is not perfect and it is during tough times where you learn the most about yourself. Obstacles help us grow and to see through them, you must face it. Step back and have a look at the whole picture, truth is, the world is a lot bigger than the problem. Time will solve everything and patience isn’t just about waiting, but it is your attitude while you wait, feelings lie, always see the truth. Face your fears by chasing them, you are a lot stronger and braver than you think. Sometimes, letting go and giving up may seem like a weakness, but it isn’t, it’s just a sign that you’re ready to move on. Lastly, smile, that curve is your best accessory and suits you the most.

As long as there’s tomorrow, there is always hope.

What a great post! I think the truest and best writing comes when we just get the urge to write and share it, and we don't really know why. I feel uplifted after reading this post, well done!

Wonderful post, I think one quote I absolutely live by is 'Sometimes you just have to create your own sunshine', I found this during a really difficult time in my life, and now it's almost like my motto x
