london beauty blogs Those who know me must already be aware that I am the biggest Liz Earle fan. Their skincare range is totally out of this world, my fave being the classic Cleanse & Polish, closely followed by the Superskin Concentrate. Their hair care range is something that I have read of before and I have tried the Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil and loved it, so when I heard that they were launching a new and improved range, I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Featuring five naturally active products, the newly re-formulated Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil (*) and the three Botanical Shine Conditioners (*) now contain a highly effective nourishing ingredient called Kalahari Melon Oil. This nurturing oil replaces Yangu Oil which was previously a key emollient in the range. No longer able to sustainably source Yangu Oil, Liz Earle‘s Ethnobotanist, James Wong discovered Kalahari Melon Oil from a fair trade women’s cooperatives in Namibia. After much research and testing, they found that this particular oil gave the same, if not better results overall.

My hair is currently coloured and in a bit of dry state, so I have been trialling the Botanical Shine Shampoo (*) and the conditioner for dry and damaged hair. I must say, it has worked a treat by leaving it hydrated, smooth and under control. After towelling dry, I rubbed a few drops of the oil through the ends and this has really helped with my damaged ends and gives my hair a bit more life. Overall, Liz Earle has done it for me again, another awesome set of products to add to the favourites list. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
