That Summer Glow

That summer glow, who wouldn’t want to have one for like, forever maybe? I know for sure I’d like to be bronzed all year round. If only I could jet off somewhere hot every month to top up in the sun, then that would be perfect, but the reality is far from it #sadtimes. So in order to keep my skin at an time glow, I quite often fake it, which is the safest way and if used correctly, gives the most glorious results. Who needs sun, really eh? In today’s post, I am sharing three main products that I am currently using to give me that summer glow. So let’s start with the fake tan first…..

Xen-Tan has always been one of my favourite fake tan brands, I particularly enjoyed using the Moroccan Tan, as it gave me one of the best looking tans ever! At the moment, I am really in to the Mousse Intense (*) which is a really light-weight mousse formula that glides on to my skin effortlessly and dries immediately. Depending on the colour you want, it is buildable and you have total control over the depth of colour you want. Xen-Tan also have their lotion tans in travel size bottles, so they’re perfect first time users of the brand or for taking away on holiday for top up’s. If I am opting for more of a gradual tan throughout the year, the new Clarins Radiance-Plus Body Golden Glow Booster (*) is the one I reach out for. All I need to do is add four-six drops (per area) to my regular moisturiser and apply to my body. Again, this product is buildable and you can add more or less drops depending on what result you want to achieve. I stick to the four-six drops and can confirm that after the first application, I can already see subtle colour and with the second dose, I achieved a really nice glow. Lastly, to accentuate certain areas of my body, especially on nights out, I am currently loving the Ciate Bikini Body Balm (*). It is a multi-purpose illuminator that is packed full of pearl boosting pigments to highlight and illuminate the skin. I have been using this a lot on my decolletage and shoulder areas as I have been loving off-the-shoulder tops lately. The body puff that comes with it allows for easy application and the results are seriously amazing.
