As soon as I found that flares were back in trend this season, I almost let out scream of excitement. Why? Because they take me right back to my school days when flares were the ‘IT‘ thing, everyone and their mum were wearing them and they looked so cool, like honestly, so, so cool. And, quite frankly they still do. Pulling on my newest pair for this outfit shoot takes me right back to all those memories of my younger years when life was carefree and all I needed to worry about was whether my homework was done, so I could go out and play in the park with my friends.

Memories aye, you gotta love them and sometimes, maybe dislike them because they’re not always good I guess. But without memories, there won’t be who you are today, whether they’re memories of a holiday, a person or even an old work place, they all shape you in some way or form, teaching you something as life goes on. I always say to myself that memories are there to be made, so make the most of it while you can before the chance disappears.
