1) Had a facial at Ominya, Knightsbridge -This was something I so badly needed for a while and I had the pleasure of visiting Omniya in Knightsbridge for a SkinCeuticals Repair, Restore and Replenish treatment. Long story short and I will be writing a separate post for it, I left with rejuvenated, refreshed and the most brightest skin ever!

2) Joined a gym – I guess I joined the gym for one of those obvious reasons over the summer, to get a bikini body. I have joined several gyms before and never stuck to them for more than three months, I just lose motivation and I am that lazy type you know. This time, I am more determine, mainly because I have a few close friends who also joined at the same time, so we motivate each other.

3) Booked a trip to Poland – In just under two weeks time, I will be heading to Poland to visit Joanna and to also attend a wedding. My last holiday was back in April and this one is desperately needed. It’s nowhere near as exotic as I would have liked it to be, but it’s always nice to travel to other countries and actually explore the cities, so I am very much excited about this trip.
4) Dyed my hair purple – Okay, so this was one that I needed to get out of my system for a while and I finally did it! And boy, was it a task and a half. My naturally black hair was bleached three times, then a ton of purple dye put in to achieve (at first) a lavender purple, then slowly, through my own maintenance, it developed in to a bright purple which I absolutely loved! I am back to dark brown for autumn, but coloured hair may well return next summer, I’d say “watch this space”.
5) Worked out a comfortable blogging schedule – Back in February, I experienced my first bout of bloggers block and wrote about it here. I have relaxed a lot since then and thoroughly looked at my content and what I really wanted to produce on this blog and now I am much more motivated, much more clearer and a hell of a lot more excited about blogging. Sometimes, you just need to a step back, look at the bigger picture and then launched in to it again. I now produce five posts a week, which some may say, is still a lot, but that’s what I’m comfortable with and I will continue to keep up with it as much as I can.
What did you get up to this summer?
