This is probably one of my favourite launches of the month, everybody, please allow me to introduce you to Bareminerals newest foundation, Blemish Remedy

Based on the much loved original formula, this new foundation has a slight twist to it – the newly added ingredients (Aspen Bark and Tea Tree Oil) which promises to soothe, calm and control problem skin. Available in twelve different shades, the finely milled powder works to provide a flawless finish and is gentle, yet effective on even the most sensitive of skins. Essentially, this foundation is the same as the original which is great for anyone who suffers from breakouts, but this one helps to conceal imperfections, reduce the appearance of facial redness and targets the bacteria that causes the problem all while controlling oil and shine. The slick silver packaging design already had me sold and the inside is even better. Featuring a filter ‘spring’ sponge, it transfers just the right amount on to the brush for application and also prevents bacteria and dirt getting in to the product.

I suffer from problematic skin now and again and have found this foundation treats my skin by giving it enough coverage without being cakey and too heavy. It covers my blemishes by creating a smooth veil over the marks and reduces the look of inflammation round them and has also kept my skin shine-free for a lot longer than normal. The application is fast and easy, just a few dabs in to the sponge with the Seamless Buffing Brush (sold separately) and gently blend for an flawless and even base.

If you haven’t tried any Bareminerals foundations before, then I’d highly recommend trying them out. This new addition is mostly suited to blemish prone skin, but can also be used on all skin types.
