One for the supermarket dash ladies and it’s one brand you definitely wouldn’t want to miss.
BD Trade Secrets is a make up brand found in Tesco supermarket stores. It first came on to the scene back in 1998 under the watchful eye of make up artist, Barbara Daly. Growing for the last sixteen years, Barbara departed six years ago and working alongside new make up artist, Abby Ireland, Tesco have developed and renamed the collection which is now known as BD Trade Secrets.
Trying the brand for the first time, having not read a single review made me a bit skeptical about the results, however, I was pleasantly surprised and not only did I find the Mattifying Base Oil Free Foundation a dream to use, the Dream Shine Highlighter took my whole highlighting game to a new level. It left me with the most dewy finish and was great at brightening my complexion by mixing it with some foundation. The Secrets Flawless Primer was my favourite out of the three, it’s balmy texture glided on smoothly and kept my skin matte all day as well as keeping my foundation intact and fresh looking.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my first experience using BD Trade Secrets and will definitely recommend you check it out the next time you pop in to Tesco’s.
I thought they'd discontinued Barbara Daly?! Or maybe they did and rebranded to BD Trade Secrets?
Definitely going to look for this in store because I loved their foundation before so hopefully it'll be as good after the rebrand
