Today, more than ever, our fast paced lives require speedy beauty solutions and the clever guru’s at Clarins have created the perfect remedy to suit everyone, the Beauty Bar. Situated amongst the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, London, within the John Lewis department store, the Clarins Beauty Bar offers turbocharged beauty boosting treatments in a relaxed environment with no compromise on luxury or efficacy. Each one of their affordable treatments are thirty minutes long and range from self tan facials to skincare work-outs and de-stressing massages. All of them are loaded with potent, plant powered products and designed to fit in within your busy schedules by being time maximising.
On a busy summer’s day this year, I booked in for the DeStress Express treatment which is a deep pressure massage on a choice of two trouble zones (hands, scalp, neck and shoulders or face and eyes). I picked neck and shoulders and scalp because I generally find those areas generate the most tension for me. My Clarins therapist talked me through the treatment and allowed me to pick my oils to suit what I needed. After relaxing in the chair, she starting working on the massage and despite being in a busy department store, I felt totally relaxed and was able to block out any noise coming from the background. Thirty minutes later, I was awoken by the therapist’s soft voice telling me the treatment was over and instantly felt so much more lighter, the tension in my shoulders eased off and I generally felt so calm, like I had just been in a spa.
I honestly can’t rate the Clarins Beauty Bar enough and if you’re popping in to London’s John Lewis for a gander next time (especially now that Christmas is coming and you need all the relaxation for shopping), please make sure you visit the Beauty Bar and book yourself in. You won’t regret it, I promise!
Clarins Beauty Bar treatments costs £25 each for a forty minute session (ten minutes consultation and thirty minutes treatment) and is exclusive to John Lewis, Oxford Street. Call 0203 073 0649 to book or visit the website here.
