This is the last set of photos that I have where I still had purple hair. If I was to be honest, I really do miss it, it was definitely very daring for me and I loved having something different for once. The maintenance, however, was a bit of pain as expected and it got to the point where I just needed a break. Don’t hold you breath though, it may well return at some point next year, but for now, I am happy being dark brown again for autumn and can I just repeat that? It’s autumn guys, summer is officially over! Not that it matters too much I guess, autumn is my favourite season for fashion and I can’t wait to stock up on cosy knits and winter warmers.

Apart from missing my coloured hair, lately, I have spent a lot of time thinking about old friends and people that use to be part of my life and now they’re not. It saddens me that when you use to be so close with certain people and then after time, you have no contact with them at all apart from seeing the odd status update on Facebook now and again. I do understand though, that over time, people do grow apart and that can’t be helped. I have a set group of friends around me now and I can’t imagine life without them, they make me laugh, make me cry (through laughter of course) and I know that they’ll always be there for me no matter what.

I love you with this colour! I totes understand the pain of maintenance though. My hair is currently in dire need of dying but I cba… Love this dress too, so simple but so chic. I know how you feel on the friend's front. My old best friend ( we were inseparable just three years ago) has just had a baby and I bumped into her a couple of weeks ago. It was refreshing and nice to talk, but made me miss what we had, I am overwhelmed with melancholy at the moment. Sometimes I wonder if it was my fault, the choices I made. Weird. Anyway, hope to see you soon!
