Hair defuzzing, what an interesting subject to talk about on the little old blog today, ha…..
In preparation for my trip to Poland last month, I took a trip to Ministry of Waxing for a treatment. Now, I don’t often have waxing, mainly because I cannot bear the thought of leaving my hair to grow till it’s a good length be waxed, I am one of those people that need to get rid of it every two days or so otherwise it just feels weird. So having to save some hair for the treatment was a bit hard for me, but I did it and took one for the team (well, just me and my blog, still a team right?). I arrived early at the salon and was taken in straight away for a consultation. The therapist explained that she will be using Lemon Wax on me which has been designed to adhere to the hair and shrink wraps it to ensure smooth removal. The wax contains lemon extract which brightens and moisturises the area being waxed and is suitable for all skin types. The whole process took about fifteen minutes which I was super impressed with as I don’t have the most thinnest of hair types (TMI, I know), the therapist was very professional, friendly and knew exactly how it’s suppose to be done and most importantly, she made me feel comfortable as you can imagine, getting your bits out in front of a total stranger can be quite daunting. Overall, my experience was great and I loved the results. I am actually considering whether to continue with more waxing treatments as I heard it thins out the hair over time.
I had my treatment at the Neal Street Ministry of Waxing in Covent Garden, but they have recently opened up a new store in Islington which looks amazing. All location and treatment details can be found on their website. Also, the lovely people behind the screens have offered you guys a 20% off a-la-carte waxing services at the Islington store using the code ‘CAKE20‘ until the 14th of October. I know I’ve left it a little bit late on this one, but there is still time to make use of this offer and book yourself in, you honestly won’t regret it.
*The treatment was provided free of charge by Ministry of Waxing, but all opinions are my own.
