If there’s one brand I’d recommend trying this month, then it would be Pixi. I have used their famous Pixi Glow Tonic and a few of their make up bits before and loved it, so when they announced a new skincare range plus some make up, I itching to try it out.

Let’s start with the 24k Eye Elixir, yep, you heard me right 24k y’all. This soothing eye serum contains precious metals and botanicals to prevent the signs of undereye fatigue and brightens at the same time. It also helps to hydrate the delicate eye area, reduces puffiness and smooth fine lines. The super lightweight formula and the rollerball applicator allows it to apply it like a dream and it’s the perfect size to carry around in your handbag for daily touch ups. On to facial moisturisers, two new launches, H2O Skindrink and Beauty Sleep Cream both work amazingly on my skin. For the day time, the H2O Skindrink is great for anyone who has combination skin like me, thanks to it’s gel consistency, it sinks in to the skin quickly and smoothly as well as leaving enough moisture for the whole day. It also cools and depuffs, making it great for skin circulation and the perfect pre-make up primer. The Beauty Sleep Cream as the title already hints, is a night time skin care moisturiser. It has more of a creamy rich texture and acts as a recovery potion for your skin. Overnight, it protects an replenishes leaving a more smoother and restored complexion for the morning.

Make up wise, I got to try out the Matte Lustre Lipstick in the shade Rose Naturelle which is a beautiful nude pink beige that applies well with no drying out of the skin despite it being of a matte formula. The Endless Silky Eye Pen in Slate Grey is the latest shade addition and like all the others, it has a creamy kohl formula which creates the most intense colour line, is complete smudgeproof and glides on effortlessly. Lastly the Lengthy Fiber Mascara is a good’un for sure. It has silk fibres in it which creates fluttery and plump up lashes in a flash. The bristles are soft and gives every lash a coat of full colour without being over clumpy and the cute little bottle makes it the perfect addition to my make up bag.

Have you tried anything from Pixi skincare or make up before? If not, will you be giving these a try?
