Perfumes and Perfume Boxes – Every year, without fail, perfume is always on the top of my list. Why? Because it never disappoints. I love receiving a new one each year as it reminds me of that particular Christmas which is always so lovely. This year, I have picked out a variety and included high street and luxury scents in the mix. Calvin Klein‘s Eternity, Thierry Mugler‘s Angel and Marc Jacobs Daisy are classic favourites. The latest launch from Gucci, named Bamboo is soft, yet intense scent encased in a beautiful bottle. Highstreet wise, the White Grace fragrance from Tesco Beauty is a gorgeous floral scent and the Avon Attraction has more seductive, musky side to it. The bottle is also very unique and fits perfectly with the men’s version. The Ghost box set will make great gifts for any Ghost perfume lovers like me (hee!) as they’re scents are so easy to wear and Chloe is another classic favourite.
Make Up and Nails – Make up sets have become increasingly popular as gift ideas so no wonder all brands have jumped on the bandwagon and created their very own Christmas collections. Benefit has always been a winner with their tin sets and the REAL Cheeky Party Set is perfect for blusher lovers as it contains five of the most famous ones. The other palette not to be missed is the Bareminerals Royal Court the Enchanted collection. It is a trio of three face colours designed to contour, highlight and luminise the skin. On to nails, Mavala‘s sets are always great for stocking fillers, especially the baubles. The one featured above is Magic Snow which is great as a top coat for festive nails. If you know of anyone who is a gel nail fan, then I may have the perfect gift for you. The Gelled LED Nail System is an at-home kit that gives beautiful, glossy nails in a flash and it is so easy to use as well. The kit contains it’s own compact curing light which means you can take it away on holiday and still be able to create lovely looking nails.
Body, Hair and Skin – Whether you’re buying for your a friend, mum, aunt, sister etc, a body, hair or skin care set will always go down a treat. My favourite ones are the Davines Hair set for coloured hair, the Dermalogica Active Moist set and the Philosophy Twinkling Snowflake set. The Sienna X Christmas Cracker, again will make the perfect stocking filler, alongside the Molten Brown Festive bauble and Joules Marvellously Mini Soaps.
Candles – Ahh, I do love a good candle and quite honestly, they do also make the most perfect gifts. Yankee Candle is an obvious favourite and never fails to disappoint, this set contains two Christmas scents, Christmas Memories and Angel’s Wings. Next have also come trumps up with their home range and this Tonka Bean and Myrrh candle is beautifully packaged in an amazing silver glass jar that will be great for storing make up brushes in after. Lastly, the Silent Night candle from Proto-col is probably my favourite of the four. The relaxing combination of Ylang Ylang and Lavender will send anyone off to dreamland with ease and is perfect for the cold, winter evenings too.
I hope you found this gift guide useful, let me know if you pick up any of these as gifts this Christmas. Happy Shopping!
