Over a month ago, I had the pleasure of trialling out the Kerastraight hair treatment during the Salon International event at Excel, London. Before my appointment, I did a little research and it is mostly used as a relaxing and straightening treatment, but can also be used to repair dry and damaged hair which is what I had after many bouts of harsh colouring over the summer.
Now, sitting in front of hundreds, if not thousands of spectators who would just walk by and stare was daunting in itself, but I soon relaxed after my interview and the hairdressers were so lovely, that I completely felt at ease in their hands. The procedure was, in my opinion super easy and simple. A solution was applied to washed hair that’s still wet and left to penetrate. Once that’s washed off and the hair has been blow dried, it was time for a run through of the straighteners pushing the solution deeper in to the core of each hair strand and that’s it! My hair felt instantly repaired, and a lot smoother and stronger too. With traditional Brazilian blow dry treatments, you have to wait a few days before washing your hair, but with Kerastraight, you can wash your hair as little as thirty minutes after and it will still maintain it’s straight length and gorgeous shine.
I was extremely happy with the results of my treatment and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for stronger, straighter and manageable hair. To find a salon closest to you, do visit the website for more details.
