Clinique has always been a brand that I loved and adored, especially their skincare range. I remember their three-step skincare collection being my first dabble as a teenager in to the higher end side of beauty and I was completely in awe of what it did to my skin and since then, I was hooked. As for their make up range, I didn’t actually try any of it until the famous Chubby Stick launched and then didn’t properly try anything till last year when I got my hands on some of, what I would say, are now essentials to my make up routine.

Starting off with the Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, this creamy contouring beauty glides smoothly under my cheek bones creating the right amount of depth to blend in for a soft shadow and is easily buildable for a more defined look. Next, I have the Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes in Ample Amber, which is a beautiful, subtle golden shade that is easy to wear and super long-lasting. The non-smudging formula creates a sheer wash of colour and again, is easily buildable if you want to add more depth to it. Carrying on with the Chubby theme, the Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara has been my go-to for a good few months now. The big bristled brush creates a volulmised lift with ease and coats each lash with rich colour. Liner wise, the Skinny Stick is an ultra fine creamy eyeliner that glides on smoothly and because of its precise tip, it reaches close to the lash line easily to create a natural look. Lastly, for brows, as they’re already tinted, I only need to fill in the gaps where needed, so the Just Browsing Brush-On Styling Mousse is perfect for doing just that. It is long-wearing and tames sparse brows while creating colour that resists smudging, the mini applicator is a godsend too.

So there we are, my Clinique make up essentials, I’m really looking forward to trying more from their range this year. Have you tried Clinique make up before? If yes, what are your favourites and is there anything you’d recommend for me?

those chubby stick are good. I have one but I wish they were more pigmented. I've also tried the mascara but it doesn't work for me. What I do use al the time is the compact powder, I love it!

I have one of the eyeshadows. Bountiful Beige and use it daily. That dark brown looks quite nice too:) Maybe I should give it a try. I have not tried much of Clinique makeup but seem to remember the mascaras to be good 🙂

I use their foundation and find it's pretty good cover. Loyal to the brand, I haven't had a new foundation for years and years
