The Must Try Cleansing Oil From Caudalie

Cleansing oils have slowly, but surely become my thang over the last six months. I rarely used them before, mainly because I have oily/combination skin and thought that putting more oil on my skin was just going to increase the greasiness. How wrong was I? Not only did they thoroughly remove make up, dirt and grime, they also kept my skin feeling super soft and smooth and not at all oilier than before.

Caudalie recently launched a new addition to their cleansing line, the Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil which balances complete effectiveness with a 100% natural formula. Despite it being of an oily texture, it actually feels really gentle and lightweight when applied to the skin and I can feel it dissolve my make up instantly when massaged in as it transforms in to a milky emulsion with a touch of water. When washed off, my skin feels clean, refreshed and soft with no greasy film at all. The unique sweet scent comes from Sweet Almond oil and may not be suited to everyone, but I personally love it and it reminds of me of a yummy summer dessert.

What are your thoughts on cleansing oils? Do you like them?

I'm a big fan of cleansing oils and rarely use anything else to remove my makeup now. My favourites are The Body Shop's Camomile Silky cleansing oil, the Vichy micellar one and the Clinique Take the day off oil cleansing oil x
