Singapore – Not sticking to the tradition where you wait for the best till last. I’m starting with my favourite ever, ever. I have been to Singapore, at a count of fifteen times now. I have family there which is one of the main reason I love it so much. But the other reasons that always keep me going back are all the amazing new attractions they keep building. Singapore has always been at the forefront of everything and every time I head back there, there’s always something new, always something up and coming and just generally full of that awesome buzz you need when you go on holiday.
Bali, Indonesia – I had the pleasure of visiting Bali, late 2014 and it was an incredible experience. I sunbathed at the amazing Kuta beach, visited the Kintamani volcano and watched wild dolphins feed at 6am in the morning at Lovina beach, it was just so surreal and I love every single minute of it. Bali would definitely be somewhere I’d visit again if I was to do another Asia trip.
Krabi, Thailand – I also visited Krabi in late 2014, in fact, it was the same trip as the Bali one, but Krabi was the first out of three on that trip. I have been to Bangkok and Phuket before and Krabi was a little different to what I expected, but in a nice way. The food, for starters, was amazing, I could not fault the Pad Thai at the local stall near where we stayed. The beaches were beautiful, full of golden sand and deep blue waters, I enjoyed it, a lot in Krabi and my next stop in Thailand, will either be Pattaya or Ko Samui.
Hong Kong – Ahh, you know what, Hong Kong will always hold a special place in my heart. I don’t have family there or anything, but I did stay there for three months in 2013 for work and if I was to be honest, I hated it at first. I just couldn’t get use to it and disliked the way everything was out there. However, after three weeks, I started to ease up a little and saw Hong Kong for what it really was, a busy, yet amazing country. Hong Kong literally has everything to offer, a diverse culture, incredible food and some of the best views of a city that I ever seen. If you was to go Asia, I’d definitely give Hong Kong a try, it does take a bit of time to get use to, but it’ll be worth it.
Langkawi, Malaysia – Another beach picture, okay, I do love a good beach if you can’t tell already, haa. I visited Langkawi, last year, in April and stayed at the amazing, Meritus Pelangi Resort as recommend by a friend. It was situated right along the beach and every day, I’d wake up to the most prettiest view of the sea. Along the main stretch of the street, there were plenty of restaurants and stalls selling incredible food. Langkawi is famous for their seafood dishes, so if you do pay a visit, make sure you check that out. Unfortunately, due to maintenance works, I wasn’t able to visit the famous Sky Bridge or take a trip in the cable cars which was a real shame. So does that mean, I need another trip, I think so! Apart from that, Langkawi was the perfect location for a spot of sunbathing and swimming and the views were honestly, insane.
Have you visited any of these countries in Asia before? If not, would you like to?
