Valentine’s Day Edit – Perfume VS Date

what perfume to wear for a dinner date

The Dinner Date – Dinner dates are always a favourite for me, one of those occasions where you can get dolled up, look all glamorous and then eat to your heart’s content, who’s with me on that one? Obviously, in front of a potential candidate, you may want tone down the stuffing of the face and rather give him something to remind him of you, so a beautiful scent like Calvin Klein’s Euphoria will definitely ensure that you will be on his mind. As the names suggests, the exciting combination of scents will seduce anyone in to a state of euphoria.

The Casual Date  – Now, by casual, I don’t mean, literally, casually dating type thing, but I mean, those ones where you just hang out, go for a coffee, sandwich and maybe the cinema type date. Still, you can get dressed up for a casual date, a nice top, some jeans and a nice pair of heels, voila, outfit sorted. To finish off, a few pumps of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely (my all-time fave) will give a nice touch of femininity as the silky, white amber fragrance lingers in the air as you walk.

The Fun Date – A full day’s worth of activities in store? No problem, I’ve definitely got your back here and picked the best scent for an activity filled date. You want something that lasts and attaches itself to your skin/clothing as soon as you spray it and the Hugo Boss Jour is quite something you know. Inspired by a woman that is successful, elegantly-composed and on-the-go, the scent is light, yet powerful and gives off that sense of positivity to all. You can run around, get that adrenaline pumping, yet still smell and feel gorgeous, I can guarantee that.

Do you have different perfume for different dates?
