Which Colour For You? – Schwarzkopf LIVE Hair Colours

schwarzkopf live hair dye blogger review

At home hair colours, love or loathe them, I personally love them. They’re effective, cheap and super easy to use and you can achieve some great results. Schwarzkopf Live colours are probably one of the main brands I go for when I’m looking to change my hair colour. Why? Because they’ve never let me down, not only is there a huge colour range, but the colour intensity results are honestly amazing.

The box contains a colour developer bottle, a tube of colour, a sachet of after colour treatment (which smells incredible by the way), an instructions pack and some gloves, basically all the standard items you’d expect to get in a home colour kit. I cannot stress the importance of also lining your hair line with some sort of moisturiser or balm to ensure the colour doesn’t stain your skin. Once the colour has mixed in to the bottle, it’s so quick and easy to apply. Luckily for me, within an hour or so (with prep time), my hair takes to dye very well and I have an instant new hair colour that is long-lasting, full of shine and looks super healthy.

Schwarzkopf Live colours are available in all leading drugstores in the UK, supermarkets and online. Currently, in Boots, they’re on offer for £4.00 a box, a real bargain in my opinion. So if you fancy changing up your hair colour without spending a fortune in the salon and want something that’s easy to use, I highly recommend trying these out.

Are you an at-home hair dye kit fan? If yes, what’s your favourite brand?

I've used the LIVE dyes before and I actually really like them. Think they give amazing results and I love the price tag too. The red shade looks fab!

I used Tempting Chocolate for about 5 years when my hair was dark but when I decided to go red I strayed away to another brand (because I wasn't sure Schwarzkopf had the shade I wanted) but that washed out completely back to my stripped colour within three weeks. I've come back to Schwarzkopf and am now Cherry Mahogany and although it does fade the colour stays in much better x
