5 Ways To Pamper Yourself In An Hour

We must always remember that no matter how busy our lives are, we should also take some time out to do the things are the good for us and to help us relax, unwind and simply just have some ‘me‘ time. A good old pamper is always something I’ve enjoyed muchly, from painting my nails to popping on a face mask, anything that involves a nice little lie down and just focusing on oneself is an indulgence and should always be a priority. Today, I’ve put together my top five ways to pamper yourself in two hour, so for those who lead busy lives and can only fit a quick routine in, I hope you find this useful.

1. Have A Nice Warm Bath – This is definitely a no brainer, having a long, hot soak is always my top tip and the first step of my pampering routine. I’ll read a magazine, take a cuppa or a glass of wine and simply relax and let the bubbles take over.

2. Treat Your Skin With An Intense Moisturiser – This goes for both face and body. It’s super important to moisturise skin in general, but it feels much more pampering when the cream/oil is thick and intense to ensure skin is feeling soft and smooth. I’m currently loving the Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil which keeps my skin so hydrated, it’s insane. I also like to pop on some Skyn Iceland Face and Eye Gels for that extra bit of plumpness. And for body, the Roger & Gallet Replenishing Precious Body Balm is my saviour.

3. Pop On A Hair Mask – Applying a hair mask has to one of the most therapeutic things ever! I love running the mask through my hair, getting out those knots and ensuring that each strand is covered for softer and smoother hair. I tend to buy a lot of my haircare products in bulk and quite often, I get them from salon supplies websites because it’s cheaper and I generally chip in with family as we all pretty much use the same stuff.

4. Apply Fake Tan – I do love a good glow, I do and I’m sure I speak for the majority out there. Taking time to apply fake tan is a nice little pampering session especially when you’re looking all bronzed after. Vita Liberata‘s tan’s are one of my favourites to use and they last ages too.

5. Paint Your Nails – A fresh set of talons is definitely a pampering must. I love treating them to a nice cuticle oil, then applying one of my favourite nail colours (which are pastels) and then just lying down and having a moment to myself while they dry.
