Okay guys, for the first time in my life, I am attending a Ladies Day, a horse racing event at Newbury Racecourse this Saturday *excited feelings, coupled with a few nervous giggles*. When I got the details via email, the first thing I did was Google image what was worn at previous shows because fashion is one huge factor of the event right? There were lots of images of lovely ladies in awesome dresses and hats and having had a quick look through my wardrobe, I was like “nah, no can do” which meant I needed to go out and buy something. So off I went to browse the shops and I actually saw two dresses I really liked, one was from Zara and the other from H&M. I got both of them and then came home and proceeded to put some ideas together on what to wear with them. The two options are below, let me know what you think and which one outfit you think I should go with.

Outfit 1
This dress from H&M looks just like the one Self-Portrait stocks and at such a bargain price of £49.99. The fit is super snug, and looks amazing on. I love the detailing on the whole dress and it’s a nice length too. I chose a white hat, some tan sandals and a tan gold clutch to finish off the look.
Dress - H&M | Shoes - Aldo | Clutch - New Look | Hat - Whistles

Outfit 2
This Zara dress has taken Instagram by storm and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one in my size and it is absolutely beautiful. The floral embroidery design is pretty and the smock style of the dress means even if I indulge in a few more glasses of champagne, no one can tell. I opted for a red fascinator, simple black heels and a red clutch.
Dress - Zara | Shoes - River Island | Fasicinator - John Lewis | Clutch - Givenchy
What do you think of both these outfits and which one do you think I should wear on the day?
