A Step In To The Autumnal Side

a step in to the autumnal side

I guess it’s about time I accepted that summer isn’t coming back until next year and a step in to the autumnal side is due. Summer is my all-time favourite season, but autumn is my favourite season for fashion, all those chunky knit jumpers and huge scarves, yep, that’s me. So I have been slowly adding new pieces to my wardrobe to build me up for the winter and my current favourite place to shop on the highstreet is H&M. They’re currently super on point with all their knitwear and outerwear and every time I got in there, I leave with some sort of autumn/winter top. There's something about the colder weather that is mysterious and special, mainly because it's getting close to Christmas! Eeeek! How did this year go so quickly? I can't even contemplate right now, seems like only yesterday that I was sunning myself in Ibiza. That aside, I'd thought I'd share my top three autumn fashion essentials with you finished off with some of my wanted pieces in a wishlist from Lyst. I can always count of Lyst as a hub for some of my favourite luxury designers which include Valentino, Needle & Thread and Giuseppe Zanotti. The nifty website literally brings all my shopping in to one home place and learns about my shopping habits in turn showing me all my most loved brands and item categories as soon as I log in. They would also be the first to alert me when something is on offer or goes down in the sale. It's the perfect little fashion platform for shopaholics like me.

Oversized Jacket - There's nothing better than cosying up in oversized jacket during autumn. The fact that it's not 'that' cold yet means you can layer up, keep warm and still look super chic. Embroidery on clothing items is a current craze which I am loving, so much and this jacket screams trendiness all over and I just love the fit of it.

Thick Jumpers - If thick jumpers and sweat tops were the only item of clothing I could wear forever, I'd totally be down for that. They're just so comfy and perfect for the colder season. I love it when the knitting on a jumper is chunky and thick, means I'm going to be warm and cosy at all times.

Chunky Scarves - Now, this is a no brainer and the chunkier, the better. Scarves not only keep me warm and cosy, but it's also a massive statement piece that completes any autumn outfit. Like the burgundy red autumn shade, tartan or plaid if that's what you want to call it is a design that never bores and the best thing about them is, they go with anything and everything.
