That time of year has arrived, and yes, I mean the Essie Fall Collection 2016. You may or may not know, I am a die-hard Essie fan through and through. I have always used their nail polishes and I have always been that girl to coo over the latest collection every season. When this year’s autumn/winter colours landed on my doorstep, I was immediately transfixed with the colour range, they all scream autumnal in their own different ways. I particularly love the shade Playing Koi, a burnt orange colour which reminds me of leaves falling from the trees. The collection is inspired by the tastes and energy of Tokyo hence the names of the polishes are all Japanese-related. The six bottle colour palette definitely has a mixture of tones that you wouldn’t expect in a fall range, especially the pale pink (Go Go Geisha) and baby blue (Udon Know Me), both of which are known as spring colours, but definitely gives the autumn season a kick of difference.
This collection is no doubt, one of my favourites so far from Essie and I’m not going to be wearing anything else apart from these shades for the foreseeable future! The range is available now from leading beauty stores and online priced at £7.99 each.
