Guess what? These Primark PS Pro Make Up Brushes launched just a few days after I bought the Artis Oval 8 Brush, doh! Should have waited really, with the amount I paid for that one brush, I could have bought many from Primark, but hey ho, nevermind, I now save my Artis one for special occasions or for days when I’m feeling extra luxurious (that is an actual feeling, I’m sure, haa!).

I picked up three sizes and they actually don’t have names or numbers, they’re all called blending brush believe it or not, but I chose the ones that I know I would get the most use out of. The biggest one is what I use to apply my daily foundation, the bristles are so soft and airy, I could legit sit and stroke them all day (okay, that doesn’t sound weird at all). I usually place about six dots of foundation on and then blend it all over my face in big, sweeping movements and honest to god, it applies the product so, so well and super quick also. It leaves a lovely base for me to work on and at £4 a pop, you just can’t go wrong really. The second size down is the brush I use for blending in my concealer and I also have a separate one in the same size for blusher. They’re the perfect size for applying those types of products as they blend it in smoothly and deposits just the right amount on to the skin for a flawless finish. Lastly, the smallest size, I use for applying eyeshadows and again, I have a separate one for blending in lipstick also. Like the two bigger sizes, the bristles are soft and great for the delicate eye and lip area, applying, particularly eyeshadows, smoothly without being too over clunky. For the lipstick, I use the brush in a dabbing movement to ensure the colour is spread across my lips and it works very well in creating the perfect ombre lip which I love.

The brushes are easy to clean and they dry super quickly also. The handles are slightly bendy which is great for pressing the product in to the skin and also when applying foundation round and under the neckline, the manoeuvring is really easy. I cannot recommend these brushes enough, they’re so good, extremely affordable and just all round, a really lovely set of brushes.
Have you tried these brushes before? If not, will you be giving them a go?
I’ve been wanting to try these brushes. A makeup artist used them for my foundation and I like the result a lot, I just didn’t like how they worked for the eyeshadow.
