I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoy visiting Singapore, okay guys, I absolutely LOVE Singapore! There I said it, it’s all out in the open, not like you didn’t know it anyways because I have probably mentioned it so many times on here before. Last time, I told about the hotel you had to visit, that being Hotel Jen Tanglin, this time round, I am telling you about another Hotel Jen, but the Orchardgateway one and the difference between the two? Well, there’s no hurry, let’s delve in to that, but first, let some pictures do the talking…..
Based in the heart of Orchard Road, the location of Hotel Jen Orchardgateway is a major selling point. Situated on from the 10th floor upwards from the shopping centre, the hotel is just a stone’s throw away from all the shops and literally a two minute walk to the MRT station. There are an array of restaurants in the area that are suitable for all tastes and everything is just so convenient, it actually hurts.
Each of Jen’s rooms immaculate and strategically designed for the comfort of their guests. Every little touch is modern, sophisticated and caters for all needs. The view alone from the rooms are stunning and if I’m being honest with you, I could just sit and stare outside the window all day long in awe of the city itself. For those who are regular visitors of Singapore, Jen wanted to create something special for them, so along came Club rooms and lounge. Guests who book Club rooms can enjoy extra benefits as well as the Club Lounge based on the 19th floor. It is a secluded chill out area with drinks and snacks on offer and the perfect place to relax with good book. There is also an exclusive ‘check in, check out’ system, so guests can beat the crowd in the main reception and head straight to the Club Lounge reception where check in/check out can be handled smoothly.
As if your room doesn’t already offer you with one of the best views of the city, the roof top pool just tops it all off. During the day, you can have a swim then lie back and gaze at the stunning skyline and even book in for massage if you wish. By night, the view is just as incredible and guests can still enjoy a good drink by the pool bar. On the same floor, there is also a well-equipped gym for those who enjoy keeping up with their routines whilst travelling.
There are two restaurants and two bars inside the hotel. Jen's signature restaurant, Makan offers local specialities and international classics to suit all taste buds. Whilst OnTheGo is a deli counter by the main reception with all sorts of snacks for those who are always on the go. Bar-wise, Lounge has a laidback and relaxed atmosphere, whereas BayWatch, situated by the pool is lively and allows you to take in Singapore amazing panaromic views.
