Busy schedules, hectic workloads and simply not having any spare time for yourself, it’s a no brainer that when you do get a moment to sit down and take a breather, all you want to do is take a bath, drink some hot chocolate and cosy up on the sofa catching up every episode of every series currently on Netflix. I know it sounds very tempting right? Especially as this post is being published on a Friday evening, it’s a dark and cold out. But, friends are precious to each and every one of us, even if you don’t want to admit it, spending time with them has more benefits than you can imagine. Here are some ways to spend quality time with your friends, I hope you enjoy…..

Girly ‘pamper/movie/eat everything under the sun’ nights in
This is my favourite type of way to spend time with my girls and the best thing about it, you don’t have to spend a lot and you don’t have to get ready, leave the house and all that jazz. Chuck on your onesies, get a bottle (or five), order some yummy food and have a chilled out evening, catching up, watching movies and have a good old natter about life.
Bring your friendship groups together
If you have different sets of friendship groups, it can sometimes be hard to juggle time between all of them, so how about organising a big meet up and bring everyone together? Plan something fun, like karaoke, bowling or even an evening at a fairground like Winter Wonderland or food market. Events like these make it less awkward and are bound to ensure everyone gets on.
Don’t use Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Group chats
We all know that we rely too much on technology, especially our phones to keep in constant contact with work, family and friends. But using Instagram to find out your friend has a new job or Facebook to realise it’s their birthday isn’t really giving them any thought or the quality time they should get. Ban the group chats (well, apart from using it to organise a meet) get together, face to face and give each other the time you and your friends deserve.

I love this! I hardly get to see my friends anymore as we all live in different places, but I love the idea of organising a spa day! I’m definitely going to suggest this to the girls when I see them next. xx
