Travel beauty essential have always been one of my favourite posts to write, not only do I get to share what products are best for travelling, it also gets me super excited for upcoming holidays and also helps me to plan my packing better. Beauty packing use to be the bane of my life, I felt the need to take anything and everything to cover those ‘but, what if’ moments, however, over the years, I become much better at it and only take the essentials which I know I will need. Now, this post isn’t all about how to pack light, but more what realistically is needed (well, for me anyways) and these products have become some of my favourites in the trial run. So without further ado, let’s talk about them…..

Cocoa Brown makes one of the best tanning formula’s I have ever tried, so when they came out with a hair range, I was rather sceptical, but you know what, don’t knock before you try it, the Kind Shampoo and Kind Conditioner duo is perfect for all hair types and smells just like summer thanks to its signature Tahitian fragrance. In addition, the Cocoa Brown Goddess Oil is perfect for slathering on for an evening out whilst on holiday as it leaves skin looking glowing and shimmery. Body wise, I always opt for something that smells cosy and feels luxurious on the skin, especially if the travelling destination is somewhere of a colder climate. Dove’s Nourishing Care Shower Oil is thick to hand, but when applied to the skin, it disperses in to a lightweight emulsion ensuring skin is soft, smooth and nourished. My travels will never be complete without a good hand cream, so the Aurelia Aromatic Repair & Brighten Hand Cream is exactly what I need. It’s super creamy and moisturising, which means my hands will never get dehydrated and it smells amazing too. Skincare wise, the most important essential for me is SPF, regardless of whether it’s a hot or cold country I’m travelling to, the SPF comes along. The This Works In Transit Skin Defence is a daily moisturiser with SPF30 in it, not only does it keep my skin hydrated, it also protects my skin from the harmful rays. For extra hydration, I also ensure I pack some sort of facial mist with me and the Caudalie Beauty Elixir has always been a firm favourite. The latest travel size Jason Wu design bottle is super cool and handy those on the go. And lastly, on to make up, I prefer to go au naturel a lot of the times, so I tend to just pack a few products to tide me over such as my favourite Too Faced Hangover Primer, a lightweight foundation (I love the Bareminerals Pure Brightening Serum Foundation), a good mascara, my current go to is the Zelens Flirt Mascara and nude brown lip from Guerlain. All of my travel beauty products get packed in to my lovely Elvis and Kresse Washbag which has a very unique concept behind it. All their items are made from reclaimed heroic materials, most famously, the London Brigade’s decommissioned fire hose which since 2005, the Elvis and Kresse team have perfected the technique of turning the material in to beautiful pieces.

It’s such a great foundation for the winter months, moisturising, but not too heavy. xx
