Spring Beauty Favourites

I legit cannot be more excited for spring to arrive! As much as I do like winter (cue all the cosiness, chunky knits and hot chocolate) – I am a summer girl at heart and I honestly feel like I’ve been cold since September last year and I’m kinda done with it now. As the warmer season draws in, it is now the best time to switch up some beauty products in favour of some fresh new additions. Here are my spring beauty favourites…..

Herbal Essences Daily Detox White Tea and Mint Shampoo and Conditioner

Firstly, can I just let you know how gorgeous this shampoo and conditioner smells - it honestly smells so good, I could eat it. I have always loved hair products from Herbal Essences and their rebrand definitely puts them back up in the market for quality and affordable haircare. This duo works well on my normal/dry hair, it works up in to a great lather and cleanses my hair from root to tip. The conditioner infuses moisture and leaves a lovely, silky sheen as well as a gorgeous, fresh scent.

Lipstick Queen Mornin’ Sunshine Lipstick

Don’t be alarmed by the colour of this lipstick – it doesn’t apply the exact same colour. The shade that actually applies on to the lips is a sweet, peachy pink that is unique to your skin tone as the colour transfer is based on your lips PH level meaning no other person will have the same lip colour as you, wahey! With the added formula of shea butter and mango seed butters, not only does it give my lips a sheer layer of colour, it also hydrates the skin which is perfect for the changing spring weather.

Dove Go Fresh Pear and Aloe Vera Deodorant

I don’t know about you, but as soon as spring hits, I’m all of sudden addicted to all the sweet and fruity smelling scents. Maybe because it reminds me of holidays and just as you read this post, my hen do abroad is being booked, woop! Okay, back to the deodorant – I have always loved Dove’s anti-persiprants, I finds their formulas a lot more long-lasting and scent-wise, they’ve always been pretty good. The pear and aloe vera scent works together so well and even after a long day at work and a couple of after-work drinks, I am sweat-free and still smelling fresh as a daisy.

Fresh Beauty Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask

Spring naturally means fresh – and the best way to embrace it is to obviously use some Fresh Beauty skincare. I love treating my skin to a good face mask once a week and the Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask really helps to draw out my impurities and clear my skin – making it feel clean and smooth. With the transitioning weather, the clay within the mask also injects enough moisture to hydrate the skin as well as leave a matte base which is great for my oily/combination skin.

Lola Make Up Highlighter

For a light, flawless finish to a full make up look, I highly recommend the Lola Make Up Powder Highlighter in 001.  It’s a gorgeous light pink champagne shade with a touch of shimmer making it perfect for spring. Especially as we are entering the warmer season (it’s actually snowing outside at the moment, as I type this, but I am still hopeful that summer is on the way, haa!), this gives a nice, subtle glow making it great for every day wear.

Bramley Juniper, Sweet Orange and Bergamot Body Lotion

I currently have the travel size version of this body lotion and I’m just about to check out on a full size bottle because this stuff is honestly so, so good. It has really gotten me in the spring mood thanks to its naturally fresh, yet alluring scent and I apply the lotion straight after a bath and it sinks in instantly. It makes my skin feel super nourished and the scent also lingers for ages.
