My Staple Beauty Essentials For Travelling

Skin Care 101: 4 Things You Can do to Keep Your Skin Healthy

My travel beauty essentials have always been ever evolving, switching up products and finding the best ones for travelling. For me, travel beauty has to be effective and easy to use as all we want to do when on holiday is spend less time on routines and more time having fun. So, I’ve rounded up a few of my staples to share with you today, hope you enjoy!

sanctuary spa cleansers
ren skincare sun protection
yes to snapmask stick
skin rollers

Skincare remains a top priority for me when travelling, so I always ensure I keep it clean, protect it from the sun and give it a little treat. For cleansing, the Sanctuary Spa Moisture Burst Face Wash is perfect for ensuring my skin is refreshed and hydrated thanks to the bursting beads of jojoba oil. Spending time outdoors means the skin needs protection, so I am never without sunscreen on my face. The REN Clear Screen Mineral SPF 30 Face Sunscreen is a lightweight cream that is easily absorbed in to the skin and protects all day from the sun. For a treat, this Yes To Detoxifying Charcoal SnapMask Stick is the perfect travelling companion. It’s convenient, quick and allows for masking wherever I go. The charcoal, salicylic acid and tomatoes draws out impurities revealing clearer skin instantly, my skin feels great after a quick 5-minute mask treat. In the evenings, if I have a bit of time, I also like to use a roller on my skin and this Gatineau White Jade Roller does the job amazingly. The cool touch of the jade soothes my skin, de-puffs and tones which is needed after a long day of exploring. A quick all round with your face cream ensures the elimination of toxins and firming of the skin.

john frieda detox and repair shampoo
living proof dry scalp treatment

Haircare for me is the easiest to maintain whilst travelling, generally, all you need is a good shampoo and conditioner and the John Frieda Detox & Repair range is all I need to ensure my locks are in good condition. It smells incredible for starters and my hair always feels clean, nourished and looks mega shiny after. For a treatment, I’ve been loving the Living Proof Restore Dry Scalp Treatment because not only does it treat irritated scalps, it provides intense hydration which is so important for scalp health.

tropic skincare suncare
lotil original cream
filorga tan boosting gel
skinny tan coconut tanning mist

Body products always take up the most space, but I would never be without them, especially a good sunscreen (as you already know by now, I am mad for it). The Tropic Sun Shade Mineral Sun Protection SPF 30 and Tropic Sun Soothe Cooling Aftersun Sun Lotion is the perfect combo for travelling. The sun protection works nicely in to the skin and ensures all day cover without being too heavy, whilst the aftersun cools and nourishes, making the skin feel cared for. For an extra layer of hydration, before I go to bed, I also apply Lotil Cream which is a multi-purpose cream. It’s a great all-round non-greasy cream that softens and soothes the skin with just a light layer. If you know me, you know I love a good tan – in order to maintain colour, I like to keep it fresh by using fake tan, so the Filorga UV Bronze Nutri-Soothing Tan Booster Gel and the Skinny Tan Coconut Water Tanning Mist are my current faves for producing colour as well as maintaining hydration on the skin.
