Halloooooo-weeeeeen is soon upon us, how do you plan to celebrate this spooky occasion? I’ve been invited along to a friend’s house party and I am so, so excited! I do plan to dress up and considered going as a cute pumpkin (cue all the lols), but I’d rather not put myself in that situation and opted to go with simple skeleton make up instead.

I’ve teamed up with Boots this year to show you my Halloween make up look which is going to be half skeleton face. I have used a selection of products to create the look, follow below a super easy step-by-step…..

Step one

I prepped my skin using my trusty Jurlique Rose Day Cream followed by a Benefit’s Porefessional Primer. I also applied some lip balm to my lips to ensure it’s all soft and moisturised especially because I’ll be using a white face crayon.

Step Two

Next, I coloured in a triangle on my nose and outlined my half skull with black face paint using a thing brush to blend the edges, particularly round the teeth area.

Step three

Using the NYX Jumbo White Crayon, I coloured in the cheek and jaw area, being extra careful to not go over the black lines.

Step four

I then went back to my black face paint and defined the outlines a bit more and coloured in the hollows.

Step five

Using the Morphe x Jacyln Hill Palette, I added a dark brown shading the corners, then a lighter brown for the inner eye. I also went over the top lid with some brown glitter shadow also from the palette. I then underlined my eye slightly to create a small darkening effect with the darker brown shadow.

Step six

Lastly, for the finale, to really stand out from the crowd, I popped on some extra large false lashes by Dolly Lashes. These are super wispy and big which really adds the wow factor to the whole look. They easy to apply too which was a bonus.
