Today, I'm sharing the essential items you should pack if you are planning a trip down under.....
Australia is a huge country. When packing for a trip to this part of the world is it important to note the different climates and weather conditions you may encounter along the way. Also, the population of Australia is not dense, so there are a lot of wide-open spaces and natural landscapes to explore. You’ll want to bring:
- Comfortable walking pants
- Breezy shirts
- Rain jacket
- Underwear - breathable socks, comfy underwear
- Footwear - hiking boots, flats, sandals
As well as clothing on a trip, there are a few different accessories you will want to bring along with you to make the most of the sunshine and the fashion of this amazing place. You’ll also need to bring along some practical items that you’ll be able to use throughout the days.
- Wide-brimmed hat (to ptotect your head from the sun)
- Daypack (a shoulder strap handbag can also work)
- Travel pillow
- Travel blanket
- Water bottle
- First aid kit
- Bug repellant and net
Whenever you head for a trip abroad it is important to bring along the essential toiletries you’ll need every day. Toiletries can be cheaper at home rather than abroad so it is a good idea to gather the supplies before you go:
- Makeup (optional, you may want to choose a lightweight foundation or CC cream for comfort)
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Face wash and lotion
Even if your plan when you go on holiday is to go off-grid and enjoy the silence, there are still some electronic items it is worth bringing with you. These include:
- An E-reader (to save you carrying a pile of books)
- Plug Adapter
The important stuff…
Of course, going away for a holiday is always a fun experience but there are certain things you need to bring along with you on the trip. It may also be worth scanning images of some of your documents on your computer to ensure you are never left without!
- Driver’s license (if hiring a car)
- Credit and debit cards
- Insurance card or details
- Contact details for doctor’s and hospitals locally
Once you have gathered all of these supplies, you’ll be more than ready for an outback adventure in Australia!
